The preliminary programme for the first international conference on the IAEA technical cooperation programme, taking place 30 May–1 June 2017 in Vienna, Austria, is now available here.
Among the topics under discussion are the role of the IAEA’s technical cooperation programme in contributing to sustainable development, cooperation across borders, sustainability and global partnerships for sustainable development.
Participants, ranging from high level keynote speakers, donors and partners to professionals who work with the programme to achieve results in their countries and regions, will share their experience in a range of presentations and panel discussions. In addition, side events and exhibitions will provide interactive, dynamic fora to showcase how nuclear science and technology contributes to the well-being and socioeconomic development of IAEA Member States.
